Pay It Forward

I was recently presented with an award and was asked to continue to pay it forward and it is my pleasure to do so! For those that are not aware YOUR Every Day Mom is MY cousin! She began blogging before I did and has been an a great inspiration as I continue to enter this fantastic blogging community. You can see Krista's passion and love of cooking and blogging in each and every post! Everytime you open one of her posts it is like a ray of sunshine shining through. She has accomplished so much and I am so proud of her! Thank you Krista for thinking of me and giving me this award!

I have only been blogging for a few months. I initially started the blog only to keep track of my recipes (my husband calls me a recipe hoarder). Then I slowly started becoming more and more interested in blogging and started connecting with fans and the blogging community and I really enjoy it! I love the feedback from the fans and the blogging community...well, I don't even know where to start! They are  simply fantastic! I witnessed that this week when a member of the blogging community, whom many of us have never met, lost her husband. Her one requst of the blogging community was to" make a peanut butter pie (which was her husband's favorite) and share it with the people you love". I was touched at the number of people I saw all over blogland making those peanut butter pies or other tribute desserts in memory of her husband. I just love connecting with people from my own state, country and even around the world who have the same passion for cooking and baking as I do! I think if everyone could feel the sense of community that we feel in the blogging community there would be fewer problems in this world!

So, I was asked to pay it forward to some of the blogs I enjoy. Wow! What a task THAT is because I honestly love and enjoy each and every blog that I read every day...and trust me that's A LOT! So this was no easy task for me! I ask the same of you that was asked of me. Please pay it forward to more great blogs!

Thank you for your kinds words! I think it's funny as we continue on down this blogging journey, we keep "outing" ourselves as cousins. LOL I love you, and thank you for all your support and proud? Well, I am, of you, as well! I think it's so neat that while we've shared so many things over the years, this is the most fun I've ever had w/ you!! I love you!
