Old Fashioned Hard Tack Candy- Day 35 of the 100-Day Countdown to Christmas

This is another recipe from 'back in the day'. It seemed like every store, craft show etc. at Christmas time had little bags of this candy for sale. I remember making it a few times with my mom. More often that not, we would have bags of it that someone had made for us.
